Oh, man! This is perfect! I'm so excited! So, how to you go about putting on freckles? I google searched for a tutorial, but there are only ones that tell you how to remove freckles from photos. :D
Well for the freckles I downloaded a brush pack and then changed the opacity and size of the brush :) Google 'Nagel series 25 brushes' and download them. Then we can go from there :)
Ok sorry haha its been a rough day! Stupid health issues. Anyway!
the brush file was a zip file right? Or some kind of file you have to unzip. You just unzip/extract it and move the file that is in it (the actual brush file) to the folder your photoshop brushes are in. usually it will be in C: > program files > adobe > photoshopCS3(or whatever version you have) > Presets > Brushes
after you drop that brush file in there, you should be able to use that brush!
Ok here is a screen shot. First you select the brush tool.
1)click on the down arrow next to the brush size 2)click the sideways arrow and it brings up a menu, your new brushes should be down there :)
Lower the opacity and flow for the freckle brushes to make them look more realistic (you can see that at the top of the screen)
Then to get back to your normal drawing brushes, just click reset brushes in that same menu.
AHHHH!! I'm so happy! There was one called "Sprinkles" and I was using that and it just made Ron look like he had Spattergroit!! It looks like real freckles!! If I send you some art, will you critique it for me?
YAY I'm so glad I'm actually helping!!!!!!! Yeah you can send me some if you want. I'm not a very harsh critic tho so if you want someone to be really critical, I'm not that :) I think everyone has some artistic talent they can build on and just need practice to perfect it!!! So send some on over :) doveharper@gmail.com I will pick apart as much as you want me to ;) But remember I'm not an expert and still have SO MUCH to learn too!! And also if you can, let me know of any areas you are having trouble with and I'll try my best to help :)
